founded by Sarah Trogdon, goldies is the manifestation of her love of herbalism
A long time student of herbalism, Sarah established a personal beauty routine based in plant medicine and ritual practices that she picked up from her childhood in North Carolina and travels. When family and friends started asking for her custom soaps and special fragrance combinations, Sarah launched a line of organic bar soaps out of her home.
Founded in 2009, and located in Rockaway Beach, NYC, Goldies is managed from our garden level studio between Jamaica Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, where over 40 handmade products are produced by Sarah and a small team. All of our products are made in small batches, using carefully sourced ingredients, organic wherever possible.
Our products are 100% paraben free, sulfate free, we use natural colorants, essential oils for fragrance, plants oils and extracts for their natural benefits and minimal and carefully chosen additives & preservatives only where necessary and beneficial.
Part of what makes our products so exceptional is their simplicity. We believe that the most basic form of luxury is ingredients in their purest forms; herbs and extracts harmoniously combined.
